Chew Cal Vin

Mr Calvin completed his tertiary education at the University of Hull, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2014. He was then admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in year 2018. He also completed a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators and a master’s degree in law at the University Malaya. During his early legal career, he was also an in-house legal manager for a company listed under Bursa Malaysia and is thoroughly involved in the commissioning of a Large Scale Solar (LSS) initiative by the Energy Commission.

Due to his diverse legal background, he has extensive and broad experience as in-house counsel and as such is able to appreciate the intricacies, demands and requirements of swift legal response of our clients in the business setting. His area of practice includes corporate, commercial and general litigation specializing in debt recovery.

Jody Hong

Ms Jody Hong completed her tertiary education at the University of Hull, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2014. She was then admitted as an utter barrister of the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, having been called to the Bar of England & Wales in year 2017. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in year 2018. She started her legal career with Zaid Ibrahim & Co and subsequently joined Messrs Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong specializing in general corporate and commercial matters.

Besides, she has experience as an in-house lawyer with regional role in an international software as a service company. She advises the company to adhere to different countries’ laws in South East Asia (SEA) and she was exposed to a broad range of international experiences by collaborating with external counsels in SEA specializing in data protection laws.

Jody Hong

Chee Tze Chiuan

Mr. Chee completed his tertiary education at the University of London graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). He was then admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in year 2021.

Mr. Chee began his legal career in conveyancing matter since year 2010 when he worked as an intern with Messrs Ming, Yee & Co. while pursuing his Bachelor of Laws. As he started his journey in legal career before admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Mr. Chee has possessed vast experience in handling diverse areas of conveyancing practice involving acquisition and disposals of real property, Developer Sale and Purchase, various banking loans for both conventional and Islamic banking and other general conveyancing practices. Additionally, Mr. Chee also excels in the intricacies of probate & administration of estates matters, perfection of transfer & charge, discharge of charge, and handling tenancy-related matters.

During his early legal career, he was also an in-house legal and compliance executive for various companies involved in property development and construction.

Since his admission to the Malaysian Bar, other than conveyancing matters, Mr. Chee also handling litigation portfolios which mainly focused on contractual, construction related disputes including adjudication & arbitration proceedings, land and commercial disputes.

Mr. Chee is currently practicing in the field of conveyancing matters and general litigation with a particular focus on pre-litigation advice for commercial, land and construction disputes.
